How did you find this money?
We audit the files and documents of many different types of agencies and businesses throughout the U.S. which includes federal, state, county, and local municipalities for unclaimed funds due to individuals and businesses.
How come you found me and the holder of my money didn't?
There are a number of reasons why holders are unable to locate those who are due unclaimed money. Most of the time it's because they don't have the right forwarding addresses for claimants because the claimant has moved or the forwarding service has expired. There are also human errors made in record keeping - typos - incomplete address information just to name a few.
In any event, we use a wide variety of methods to locate our money recipients, some of which include comprehensive internet searches, phone books, and paid databases.
How much will this cost me?
We receive no payments from you until and unless we successfully claim money for you. This includes any and all legal fees and/or administrative costs. To be clear, in all cases, we charge you nothing upfront and ONLY get paid when the holder pays us.
Where did this money come from?
This will also be revealed to you once you sign our contingency agreement. However, we can tell you that much of the time, these funds result from an accounting error/overage or debt collection you are not aware of.
Is there a time limit on collecting my claim?
Almost always, there is a short period of time in which the funds can be collected, after which the money can be turned over to the government agency holding it for their own personal use. In some cases however, it depends on the holder as to whether there's a time limit to make a claim. That's why we highly recommend to all of our clients that whenever it's at all possible, we need to get the process started as soon as possible .
How quickly will I receive the money?
Once we've submitted the proper paperwork it can take anywhere from several weeks to a few months for the agency to process the claim. The entire process usually takes anywhere from a month and a half to three months as it depends upon when the Holder processes the claim. After receiving a check from the holder, we allow from five to seven business days for it to to clear. At the point we make a copy of the check, reissue a new check for your amount you agreed and forward them to you. We keep you posted during the process by letting you know about any developments regarding the recovery.
Is this legal?
Absolutely. If we find that you are, in fact, the rightful owner of these funds, then you have every right to claim them yourself or to allow a company such as ours to buy the debt from you.
I'm afraid to sign legal documents with a company I just heard of. What should I do?
Feel free to thoroughly review any of our agreements for yourself, or consult with a trusted friend or legal advisor. Our documents are very straightforward. Basically, they explain what we do to become the Creditor instead of you; what we do to recover the funds and how we pay you once we've recovered them. We don't need personal information such as driver's license number, social security nor credit card. And again, and most importantly, we don't need any upfront payment from you.
This sounds like a scam... how can I be sure it isn't?
Again, there is no out of pocket expense to you, at all- EVER- to process your claim. Remember - our company works on a contingency basis, and we can only get paid when the claim is paid. In addition, we are listed on the Secretary of State of Georgia's web site as a registered limited liability company. And finally, we have recently received membership into the BBB (Better Business Bureau) for the state of Georgia's Central. We do everything we can to make sure that you feel as comfortable as possible with what you are agreeing to by make our agreement easy to read and understand. Why should I use yours or any asset recovery company?
Most of the assets we locate aren't available by searching the internet, and it's unlikely that without the aid of a company like ours, you will ever be notified of their existence by the agency holding them. It's our business to help people like you recover lost and unclaimed assets. Can't I just look for this money on my own?
Absolutely. You can always do that. However, it's unlikely that you will be able to locate the funds yourself. Our company maintains, and continuously adds to, a comprehensive list of sources of these funds which are almost never easily found by a casual searcher.
I need to talk to my husband/wife/other family member about this. Can I wait and think about it?
Of course. However, but keep in mind that most of the time there is a short window of time left to collect your funds, and every day counts. If at all possible, you should get started on your claim as quickly as possible after we've made contact with you. We've seen claims fall short of being processed by a single day- which resulted in the money being lost, permanently, and the agency holding it being able to legally keep it. It's often a heartbreaking reality, and we don't want to see happen to you.
